The anti-smog street mural has arrived in Milan artist Iena Cruz, to clean the air and raise awareness of environmental emergencies that threaten our planet

Is called Anthropoceano and will help purify the air of Milano. The street artist's anti-smog mural Iena Cruz, created in collaboration with Worldrise Onlus and funded by Ocean Family Foundation and North Sail, it extends on the facade of a building in via Viotti, near the station Lambrate.

How does it work? The work is made with a special paint called Airlite, which through the action of light is able to reduce pollution in the air, eliminating up to 88% of nitrogen oxides, benzene and formaldehyde.

Anthropoceano depicts an oil rig in the shape of a plastic bottle, inside which some marine creatures are trapped, like a shark and a whale. Its purpose is twofold: while acting as natural purifier, the mural also aims to raise awareness of the impact of plastic on the seas, starting from its origin to the consequences it has on nature and animals.
